A Vision for an Autonomous Haiti: A Call to Action for Our Future

I am excited to announce my candidacy for president, motivated by a vision to make Haiti autonomous. Inspired by the dreams of my peers since 2008, I desire to see a transformation in our nation—one that is resilient and independent. To achieve this, I founded ITIAH, a literary and theater organization that voices our concerns and shapes a hopeful future.

Instead of progress, we face a deepening crisis, leaving our generation disillusioned. We—the "zombies" who have embraced education—are determined to rise for our marginalized peers oppressed by corrupt oligarchs and indifferent international entities.

We strive not for revenge, but to awaken a collective consciousness that recognizes Haiti belongs to its people. We aim to build a nation where clean drinking water is accessible and everyone can breathe fresh air, supported by sustainable practices. Our vision includes food security, education in Haitian Creole, and self-reliance for all.

We believe education empowers individuals to secure safety, health, and stable housing. Our electoral participation affirms our commitment to a better Haiti. Regardless of the election's outcome, we hope our message will compel those in power to champion our vision for a brighter future.
