Michel Denis

Michel Denis was born in Bel-Air, a neighborhood of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He grew up in a Christian family, where he had spent his whole life going to Church. He was raised by his single mother, Anne Esther Clement, who did various things to provide him daily bread. In the house, they were three people: him, his mother, and his twin brother Michael Denis.

Years later, he immigrated to the United States of America to live with his father, François Hyacinthe Denis, and his siblings. After earning his associate degree in fine arts at Bunker Hill Community College, he went to Lesley University to continue his political sciences career. He is a lifelong writer and Poet. In his writing journey, Michel had written five unpublished novels. As a youth, he ran for Boston City Councilor At Large in 2019.

The Poet believes that young men and women can significantly impact society if they support motivated Leaders and Guardians. He is the Director of a non-profit organization calls ITIAHaiti, whose mission is to revive Haitian culture while coaching youth to build their leadership through arts.
