Wilsonn Telimo Lwi

I am a poet and social activist. I hold a master's in Public Service from the University of Arkansas, a juris doctor from the State University of Haiti, and an associate degree in communication/journalism. I ran for Congress in 2015, advocating for youth rights and social inclusion, and after moving to the US in August 2016, I focused on education to better serve my community.

I have taken English classes and earned certifications as a nursing assistant in paralegal studies, filmmaking, tax preparation, real estate, human services, and court interpretation. I co-founded ITIAHaiti, a 501c3 organization to revive Haitian culture, and I own THELIMO Services, offering various language, publishing, and photography services.

I have volunteered with organizations like Catholic Charities, UNICEF, and the Haitian Red Cross, and I am active in several initiatives for human rights and youth empowerment in Haiti. Additionally, I co-founded a political party called "KÒTAKÒT" and have broadcasting experience in Haiti and the US. I also draw knowledge from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
